About the Business
Michael Higgins started H&S in 1987 as a small business working with just brushes and paint. It was a far cry from the H&S of today, which can handle huge industrial blasting and spraying jobs on bridges and stations throughout the rail network or tackle the most challenging decorating tasks on major works throughout the country. But with the benefit of hindsight success should come as no surprise. And it's not happened by accident.
H&S has grown directly from the firmly held belief that you should always try to be the best at whatever you do. And that to attract and retain clients you have to develop a way of working that differs from the norm. In short, you single-mindedly apply the standards of a profession to the decorating trade. Which is why 'The Professional Decorating Company' is more than just a line on a brochure or website.
